Position Summary

The Marketing Officer is responsible for conducting a wide variety of duties in support of the Communications and Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and contribute to the design, presentation, layout, functionality, navigation, and graphic content creation of the corporate website
  • Design a wide variety of marketing materials including event videos, marketing collaterals, newsletters, print advertisements, signage, and e-blasts
  • Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to create and execute posting schedule and content calendar for social media, brand, and email marketing channels, considering web traffic, SEO and customer engagement metrics
  • Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and AODA requirements
  • Ideate and execute compelling visual stories
  • Execute online advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google AdWords
  • Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in graphic design, interactive arts, marketing or other related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, digital content creation, website and social media(e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Wechat and Weibo) management
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress and HTML. Experience in SEO an asset
  • Technological savvy skills and ability to work easily in a wide variety of online platforms such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite, WordPress, Microsoft Suite
  • Work knowledge in HTML, SEO and AODA
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A valid Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle
