Brand Manager, Cash Management Group, Canaccord Genuity – Vancouver, BC
The Cash Management Group at Canaccord Genuity is hiring a Brand Manager to join our high-performance team. Our group manages over $5 billion in client assets and employs like-minded individuals who come to our office every day with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and grit.

We hire people who are building a career and not just changing jobs. Someone who can handle multiple and vastly different projects at the same time. You need to advocate for the various brands with both internal and external stakeholders. You must have first and foremost a business mindset and understand how a solid marketing strategy should directly impact revenues. A strong candidate will be well versed in the various forms of storytelling, which will include all prominent social media platforms, email campaigns, website development and public relations. The Brand Manager will coordinate the efforts of our Marketing team with our Sales team; ensure our published content is targeted, accurate and inspiring. You will propose creative and impactful brand strategies and be willing to step in and do the work yourself when needed.

Leadership – Understanding and championing our vision and then articulating this into an understandable format that our creative team can build from;
Content – Produce a steady stream of written, audio and video content designed to engage the audience. This includes social posts, email campaigns, video stories, website updates, and sales material;
Brand Consistency – Ensure our message is consistent across all mediums and platforms, so the consumer understands our value proposition, regardless of how they found us;
Hold an undergraduate/bachelor’s degree; Have 3-8 years of work experience in marketing;
Extensive experience in social media, including X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and others;
Experience using SquareSpace, Wordpress, or other web content management systems;
Experience using ConstantContact or other email marketing software;
Knowledge of SEO;
Graphic design experience with Canva and/or Adobe Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop) or similar;
Previous background/experience in finance-related or communications field.
