Overview: Join our team as a Structural Engineering Professional and play an integral role in our design team. You will collaborate closely with your Structural Lead, other Structural Engineers and Designers, and interdisciplinary teams to perform structural analysis and design for various projects. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Develop engineering judgment and problem-solving skills, seeking guidance when needed.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of work.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner with a strong focus on detail.
  • Conduct field walks as needed, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • This position is considered hybrid/remote, allowing you to work from the local office or from home within the designated region.
  • May require support for work in other offices or client sites, including possible Temporary Duty Assignments.
  • Employee must provide internet service at home to effectively meet project performance requirements.
Qualifications: Minimum:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
  • MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or MS degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
  • Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
