Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Intermediate/Sr Structural Designer to join our Mining Team in the Burlington office.

About the role

· Prepare structural layouts: conceptual and detail drawings in line with project requirements.

· Interface with other disciplines (civil/earthwork, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure structural drawings incorporated other discipline requirements.

· Perform site visits, inspect existing structures, prepare drawings and sketches of existing structures.

· Liaise with designers, engineers and project managers for direction, coordination, and feedback.

· Experience with Autodesk and 3d Advanced Steel

· Smartplant experience an asset

About you:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Structural Layout and design drafting of Mineral Processing Plants within a large project, multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment.

· Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.

· The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
