We are assisting our client a leader in the aviation and marine sectors in their search for an AME Crew Chief (AW169) for their Vancouver, BC location.Responsibilities:• Oversee and supervise a team comprising of AME’s and apprentices.• Perform maintenance tasks including adjustments, modifications, testing, diagnosis, and repairs on the mechanical and structural systems of aircraft.• Utilize specialized aviation tools, power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.• Execute scheduled maintenance duties.• Maintain accurate and punctual records of maintenance and repair activities.• Adhere strictly to established procedures, rules, and regulations during all tasks.• Demonstrate thorough familiarity with and adherence to safety protocols and practices.• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks.• Ensure cleanliness and productivity in the work environment.• Perform aircraft cleaning duties for both interior and exterior areas, excluding medical biohazards.• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.• Comprehend and comply with Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM.• Utilize the company's reporting system to report hazards, incidents, or accidents.• Accurately input labor data into the labor tracking system for all completed tasks.• Carry out work in accordance with Transport Canada guidelines and the MPM.• Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned.The ideal candidate should possess:• Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.• Prior experience with rotary-wing assets, preferably with Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, specifically the AW169.• Demonstrated proficiency with WinAir or similar maintenance programs.• Strong organizational abilities.• Experience in leading a team.• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.• Physical capability to sit or crouch for extended periods, walk, stand, and work in confined spaces.• Willingness to undertake shift work and comfortable with working at height.• Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).• Authorization to work in Canada and/or possession of a Canadian passport.• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
