Sales Representative, D-A-CH Job Description: Reports to: Senior Sales Manager, Europe
This is bilingual role (German and English languages are mandatory)
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Europe, this individual is responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activities for assigned Accounts and will be responsible for developing a network of new customers to achieve annual sales objectives in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
This person will work to encourage and facilitate marketing of our products within all market segments to drive sales revenue with existing customers, and will take a lead role in highly targeted business development to help grow the company’s commercial customers.
The Sales Representative, D-A-CH will develop and maintain close relationships with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Shipping/Logistics and Finance to oversee any customer service and credit/payment issues specific to Commercial Costumers accounts.
Meet and exceed set sales quotas set by the company on an annual basis.
Promote/ negotiate/ sell/ secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based, consultative sales approach.
Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends in consultation with marketing and technical service areas.
Have a bi-weekly call with Corporate Contact to review Sales Funnel and current opportunities.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows and conventions as required (FIBO, etc.).
with Senior Sales Manager, Europe to identify, pitch, secure and manage new direct customers.
with Marketing and Senior Sales Manager, Europe to develop Sales Presentation, Sell Sheets, Flyers, etc… to prospect German Fitness Club & Boutique Fitness chains.
prospecting skills, using social media sources and trade associations, etc.
forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company standard CRM tools.
sales funnel and provide accurate forecasts to management.
sales efforts with logistics and technical service groups; with Translation & Proof reading of German Marketing Material.
Ability to speak English and German fluently (Mandatory)
~2-3 years’ direct sales and account management experience
~ to work independently with a proven track record in driving measurable results and exceeding sales targets.
~ MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation proficiency.
~ French or Spanish, spoken and written, are a definite asset.
