Le premier/première analyste, Affaires réglementaires ne se concentrera pas uniquement sur le milieu réglementaire, mais jouera également un rôle de soutien dans nos efforts de relations avec les parties prenantes, en défendant nos produits et les intérêts plus larges de l'industrie.

Le premier/première analyste, Affaires réglementaires est responsable de soutenir le lancement des produits commercialisés, y compris l'élaboration du texte obligatoire de l'étiquette du produit, des allégations réglementées et des informations nutritionnelles sous la forme de notes d'information sur l'étiquette (LIN), ainsi que le suivi de la surveillance réglementaire après la mise sur le marché. Le/la candidat(e) sera fortement impliqué dans l'analyse du marché canadien en vue de la préparation des futures exigences réglementaires. Le/la candidat(e) entretiendra des relations étroites avec les associations sectorielles et les agences gouvernementales. Le/la titulaire de ce poste jouera un rôle essentiel en fournissant des conseils à diverses équipes de projet, en offrant des avantages concurrentiels et en garantissant la conformité des produits de KDP.

Responsabilités du poste :

  • Analyser les formulations des produits afin de fournir le contenu obligatoire de l'étiquetage en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les scientifiques de la R-D tout en respectant les exigences de marketing souhaitées;
  • Examiner et approuver les étiquettes finales des produits, en veillant à ce qu'elles soient conformes à la législation locale et aux autorisations de mise sur le marché;
  • Veiller à ce que les formulations et les ingrédients des produits soient conformes aux réglementations de Santé Canada;
  • Fournir des informations réglementaires pour l'innovation précoce de nouveaux produits en examinant les concepts de marketing et les allégations pour les études de consommation;
  • Veiller à ce que les allégations relatives aux produits canadiens bénéficient d'un soutien scientifique approprié afin d'obtenir l'étiquetage le plus compétitif possible;
  • Défendre les intérêts de l'entreprise, en liaison directe avec les associations professionnelles du secteur;
  • Suivre de manière proactive l'environnement réglementaire et gouvernemental, en restant attentif aux changements, en identifiant l'impact sur les produits et en mettant en œuvre la stratégie réglementaire afin de garantir la conformité aux nouvelles réglementations dans les délais impartis;
  • Proposer des solutions aux questions réglementaires et gouvernementales stratégiques et tactiques;
  • Gérer des projets complexes dans le domaine de la réglementation afin de concrétiser les initiatives en matière de réglementation;
  • Fournir des mises à jour régulières aux équipes matricielles sur les projets, les plans et les objectifs commerciaux, et assurer l'alignement dans les domaines de responsabilité;
  • Gérer tous les dossiers papier et électroniques ainsi que les bases de données de gestion de l'information;
  • Renforcer l'efficacité et l'efficience du service des affaires réglementaires en soutenant et en améliorant divers systèmes et processus;
  • Établir des relations solides au sein des divisions/services, tant à l'échelle locale qu'à l'échelle mondiale, ainsi qu'avec les parties prenantes externes.

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine scientifique (Baccalauréat ès sciences en science alimentaire, ou en biologie, ou en chimie, ou en toxicologie, ou en nutrition) requis. Une maîtrise est préférée;
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en affaires réglementaires dans une entreprise de produits de consommation;
  • Expérience avérée de la liaison avec les associations professionnelles du secteur;
  • Maîtrise des applications informatiques (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Access, Optiva);
  • Le bilinguisme est requis, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

Regulatory Affairs plays a pivotal role in bringing and maintaining our products in market. Ensuring compliance with local regulations, understanding government policies, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders are integral to KDP’s success. The Senior Analyst will not only focus on the regulatory landscape, but also play a supporting role in our stakeholder relations efforts, advocating for products and the industry's broader interests.

The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Affairs is responsible for supporting the launch of marketed products, including developing mandatory product label text, regulated claims, and nutritional information in the form of Label Information Notes (LINs) as well as tracking post-market regulatory surveillance. The candidate will be heavily involved and engaged in horizon scanning for the Canadian market in preparation for future regulatory requirements. The candidate will be fostering strong relationships with industry associations and government agencies. This position will be pivotal in providing guidance to various project teams, ensuring regulatory compliance for KDP products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product formulations to provide mandated labelling content by working closely with R&D scientists while delivering against desired marketing requirements in a compliant manner.
  • Review and approve final product labels, ensuring compliance with local legislation and market authorizations.
  • Ensure product formulations and ingredients comply with Health Canada regulations.
  • Provide regulatory input for early innovation of new products by reviewing marketing concepts and claims for consumer studies.
  • Ensure appropriate scientific support of Canadian-based product claims to obtain the most competitive labelling possible.
  • Advocate for the company's interests, liaising directly with industry trade associations.
  • Proactively monitor the regulatory and governmental environment, remaining aware of changes, identifying impact to products, and executing the regulatory strategy to ensure timely compliance with new regulations.
  • Offer solutions to strategic and tactical regulatory and governmental issues.
  • Manage complex regulatory projects to deliver against regulatory initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to matrixial teams on projects, plans, business goals, and ensure alignment in areas of responsibility.
  • Manage all paper, electronic files, and information management databases.
  • Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Regulatory Affairs department by supporting and improving various systems and processes.
  • Build strong relationships within division/departments on both local and global levels and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • University degree in a scientific field required (B.S., Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Toxicology, or Nutrition); M.S. Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in a Consumer Products Company.
  • Demonstrated experience in liaising with industry trade associations.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Access, Optiva).
  • Bilingualism required, both spoken and written.
