Angus McKay Nursery School is a non-profit charity nursery school that has been in operation for over 40 years in the Fraser's Grove area of East Kildonan inside the Angus McKay Elementary School.
The main purpose of our nursery school is to provide a safe, friendly atmosphere where children learn through play and through their own sense of wonder. Our goal is to deliver materials, toys and activities that arouse children's curiosity, stimulate their creativity and build independence and confidence. Volunteer Opportunity Details
Volunteer Opportunity ID: 5293
Description of Duties: The board treasurer handles the day to day remittance of funds, manages the budget, prepares monthly budget statements for the board, prepares tax documents, assists in the handling of tuition fees, and handles the CRA tax return.
Experience in completing CRA tax returns

Time Commitment: Remote Volunteering , Flexible Hours
Almost all tasks can be done remotely with the exception of attending the AGM. Preferred attendance at the holiday party and graduation party but not a requirement.
