POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in sourcing, attracting, and recommending top talent to meet Keller's field and office staffing needs. This position partners closely with Hiring Managers to ensure that candidates' skills, experience, and abilities align with role requirements while also considering cultural fit. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and pre-screening all candidates before coordinating interviews with hiring managers. Once a candidate is selected, the Recruitment Coordinator extends the job offer and supports the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, this role proactively sources future talent and promotes Keller's employer brand across various hiring platforms and educational institutions.

Job Analysis

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team culture, and specific skills needed for the role.
  • Support Hiring Manager in creating accountabilities and job descriptions for roles.
  • Create interview guides, job advertisement.

Sourcing Candidates

  • Actively sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and other platforms.
  • Building and maintaining a pool of talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Tracking recruitment and providing regular reports on hiring. Keeping detailed records of candidate interactions and progress.

Screening & Interviewing

  • Create job postings and manage through job boards and hiring platforms.
  • Reviewing resumes to short-list candidates for Hiring Manager review.
  • Conducting initial phone or video screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinating interview schedules, gathering feedback from interviewers, and keeping candidates informed throughout the process.

Candidate Relationship Management

  • Ensuring timely and efficient follow-up with candidates.
  • Sending decline emails to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Maintaining communication and pipelining/funneling potential candidates for future opportunities.

Onboarding Support

  • Extending offer letters to successful candidates and assisting with communicating salary and benefits packages.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for the new hire.

Employer Branding

  • Promoting the organization's brand and culture on our employer hiring pages.
  • Work with post-secondary institutions with a focus on creating student programs and a hiring pipeline.
  • Create meaningful relationships and partnerships with organizations within the community.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in human resources or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources an asset.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and hiring managers.
  • High level of organizational, problem solving and sales skills.
  • Effective typing, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Knowledgeable of Canadian employment and labour laws.
