About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Director of Acquisition Integration to lead our organization's efforts in seamlessly integrating acquired companies and assets. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the M&A process, overseeing the end-to-end integration strategy, planning, and execution. This senior leadership position requires a deep understanding of business operations, change management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.

What you’ll get to do

  • Integration Strategy, Planning, Execution:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key resource to all integration teams, ensuring collaboration and information sharing among workstreams by managing cross-functional relationships through transparency, effective communication, and frequent updates
  • Develop and implement comprehensive integration strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create detailed integration plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and key success factors.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align integration activities with overall business strategy.
  • Establish integration strategy to ensure risk-remediation, product, go-to-market and operational deliverables are met
  • Deliver on objectives outlined in deal thesis
  • Due Diligence Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the M&A team during the due diligence phase to identify potential integration challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and assessments to inform the decision-making process regarding potential acquisitions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Collaborate with functional leaders from various departments (finance, operations, IT, HR, etc.) to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive integration culture, driving engagement and alignment across the organization.
  • Change Management:
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and resistance during integration.
  • Provide guidance on organizational structure changes, talent retention, and cultural integration.
  • Risk Mitigation and Issue Resolution:
  • Identify potential risks and challenges during integration and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the resolution of issues that may arise during the integration process, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate integration progress, challenges, and successes to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Engage with employees at all levels to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Post-Integration Evaluation:
  • Conduct post-integration evaluations to assess the success of integration efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on post-integration feedback and lessons learned.
Skills and experience we value
  • Proven experience leading an end-to-end integration at a technology company
  • Deep level of proficiency and understanding of the dependencies associated with integrating HCM product
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading complex acquisition integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, finance, and organizational dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep level of proficiency and understanding of the linkage between business processes, people, and system
  • Ability to participate in program activities occurring in multiple time zones and travel as necessary
  • Advocates for change management with an empathy for relationships and positions
  • Change management certification or relevant training is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
