The incumbent must be fluently bilingual (EN/FR). Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop outreach plans for the provincial government in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, analyzing both emerging and established legislative public policy issues affecting the company.Compile information and aid in creating position papers, policy briefings, presentations, and legislative testimony for upcoming legislative actions.Coordinate efforts with strategic partners in government and industry to convey corporate positions and objectives effectively.Create and execute customized strategies to enhance market access, with a focus on provincial coverage and coding intricacies.Provide corporate leadership with in-depth analyses of market trends in Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, along with updates on reimbursement changes and considerations for local language and cultural nuances.Engage proactively with leadership from provincial regional health authorities, government officials, and patient organizations to advocate for medical device access policies, demonstrating a grasp of provincial healthcare frameworks.Act as a primary resource on Quebec-specific healthcare policies for commercial teams, including changes in reimbursement regulations and governance structures at regional and provincial levels.Collaborate closely with colleagues from customer solutions, legal, commercial business units, medical education, and regulatory affairs to ensure coherence between the company's commercial strategies and healthcare policies and initiatives in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.Devise legislative and regulatory strategies that align with company priorities while navigating jurisdictional healthcare regulations and legislative landscapes.Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key policymakers and industry stakeholders in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, leveraging local insights and networks.Generate concise reports on the political, social, and economic environment in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces pertinent to the Commercial and Canadian Leadership Teams.Partner with commercial product managers to lead the development and execution of market access strategies, tailoring approaches to specific medical devices or therapeutic areas.QualificationsBachelor's Degree is required.8+ years of work experience is required.2+ Working experience and understanding of the Quebec healthcare and political landscape is required.Fluency in French and English is required.Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and adeptness at managing multiple tasks in dynamic environments.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently resolve issues.Ability to work within cross-functional teams.Thank you in advance for your interest, only individuals deemed to have the skill set and experience to fit the role will be contacted.Lock Search Group is a National Executive Recruitment firm with 11 offices in Canada and one in the United States, a staff of more than 30 Consultants and Associates, and expertise in 11 major disciplines.
