Senior Project Estimator

Reporting to the Chief Estimator of our BC Buildings Group, our Senior Estimator will be responsible for leading high complexity project pursuits, as well as determining project scopes, accurate quantifying / costing, managing deadlines, and mentoring the more junior team members.
As a Senior Estimator at Graham you will:
# Lead or participate in the bid close on projects.
# Develop scopes of work for subcontractors to provide budgeting assistance on medium-sized projects.
# Lead a team of support estimators and operational staff, assisting with planning their time, oversee delegation and quality of work, and compiling all input on medium to large complexity projects.
# Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders that reflect and support Graham core values.

7+ years of a combination of field and estimating experience; design-build experience and proficiency in a variety of general procurement methods is an asset.
Specific experience with estimating buildings construction projects.
Proficiency in the use of Graham software suite, MS Excel, scheduling software (Primavera preferred), quantification software (such as OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Agtek), and BIM modelling is an asset.
Ability to develop less experienced estimators’ skills through mentoring, teaching and training.
