The Finance Business Partner, Technology responsibilities are to ensure a solid financial governance on CAE Technology projects, support internal clients to achieve financial targets, support forecasting and budgeting activities and prepare business cases for technology investments.
Prepare Business Cases for investment opportunities, challenge the numbers, build and support financial assumptions
Implement, oversee and improve monthly reviews for technology projects
Prepare monthly/ quarterly financial reporting packages for Executives, explain discrepancies versus Budget and Previous Forecast
Identify project financial risks and be a key contributor in the mitigation of those risks
Partner with Technology and Business Segments to unify visions and simplify processes
Perform financial analyses and defy status quo
MBA or a professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
~5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in technology
~ Experience in budgeting, forecasting, gap analysis
~ Ability to communicate in French and English (written and spoken)
~ MS Excel /MS PowerPoint/ MS Outlook/ MS Teams advanced user skills
~ Planisware knowledge is considered an asset
