**YOUR ROLE**

**Overview**

The finance business partner strategically bridges operations and financial performance. Collaborating with sales and operations teams, they set financial objectives, track performance, and conduct analyses to inform business decisions. With a deep understanding of business drivers and financial systems, they effectively engage with employees at all levels.

**Responsibilities**
- Operational: 70%_
- Initiates and conducts monthly Sales business review meetings on year-to-date results and year-to-go projections to enhance team visibility, facilitate financial projections, and deliver valuable financial insights to drive improved business outcomes within the Scope.
- Coordinates aspect of the Budget, Forecast and Strategic Plan processes for areas in terms of deadlines, reviews, targets, system uploads and variance analysis
- Work closely with the sales teams, supporting them with analysis and financial information for profitable decision-making;
- Supports business areas during month-end processes to investigate account variances, reconcile accounts with Accounting, and complete necessary Journal Entries to meet closing deadlines.
- Manages the monthly Royalty process for the respective brands (create monthly reports, place accruals with Accounting and send quarterly royalty statements to licensors);
Strategic: 20%
- Identifies and monitors key financial indicators to gauge performance, identify trends and perform benchmarking on core activities to provide financial and strategic perspective to the business;
- Identifies and assesses potential business, financial impacts or risks associated with new ideas or projects;
- Participate in the development, enhancement and implementation of financial system or processes initiatives by providing value added input with respect to FP&A and ensuring that changes in the system or business processes are integrated into ongoing activities;
- Leadership: 10%_
- Responsible for identifying, pursuing and sharing with teammates technical, professional and interpersonal training programs for his/herself;
- Ensure alignment between the business and the Finance teams through regular and clear communication;
- Responsible for completing objectives setting and self-assessment;

**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- 2 to 4 years of Pertinent business experience. Strong business acumen and well-versed in Financial Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis.
- University degree in Finance/Business administration and/or a professional designation (i.e. CPA, CFA, MBA)
- Understanding of performance variance analysis, accounting principles and financial reporting aspects;
- Knowledge and skills using SAP BPC, SAP Financials, SAP EPM and AO; comfort and ability to query SAP by transaction code (if required) or obtain multi-source BI data for analysis
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated communication and leadership skills

Job Requirements:
