Elbow Springs is a 27 hole, semi private golf club in SW Calgary. We are looking for an organized and detail oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Equipment Manager beginning 2023. This is open to experienced mechanics or anyone with mechanical interests and experience. The assistant equipment manager will be responsible for routine maintenance and repairs for a fleet of golf course equipment including mowing, construction, and utility equipment. The successful candidate will recognize the importance of a team environment, while taking pride in being a key component to providing excellent playing conditions for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities are Assisting Head Technician with the Following:
Keeping a safe, organized, and tidy work space
Frequent inspection, adjustment and sharpening of cutting reels and rotary mowers. Mixture of Toro and John Deere mowers.
Manage ordering and inventory of parts to minimize downtime of equipment, while working within a budget
Assist in training of employees in the safe operation of equipment.
Willing periodically assist with on course projects or repairs.
Desired Experience / Qualifications
Experience working with small engine and golf course equipment is an asset - Gas and Diesel
Experience with Hydraulics and Electrical systems
Experience with grinding and setup of reel and rotary mowers.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
