The Senior Financial Analyst, North American Finance, is a key position in the financial planning & analysis team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position will help Canada Goose understand the financial story of the North American eCommerce business, Marketing spend, and Supply Chain spend allocation. You will be a business partner to the VP Marketing North America taking ownership and leadership of the related financial analysis to further drive growth.

Business partner to the VP Marketing along with their North American commercial teams, working closely to glean financial insights to better understand the success of their business
Own the budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for the Canadian & US eCommerce channel, including building forecasts tailored to each country, and presenting to senior finance and senior North American leadership teams
Work cross functionality to analysis KPIs, draw insights from the business, and collect supplementary data to support the build of annual, monthly, and daily sales forecasts for the Canadian & US business
Prepare and analyze P&Ls to understand the unique business drivers of eComm along with Marketing projects and Supply Chain spend allocation
Work closely with the Global FP&A and Accounting teams to prepare monthly accruals, month-end variance analysis, and close commentary
Build models, and other ad-hoc analysis to support initiatives in the Canadian & US market
4+ years in a financial planning & analysis role
~ Professionally designated as a CPA, MBA, or another equivalent financial designation
~ Experience partnering with senior leadership to share business insights and support them in understanding their business
~ Advanced excel skills, including the use of complex formulas and pivot tables, and experience building excel templates and models
~ Executive level communication and presentation ability is required, both written and verbal
~ Exceptional planning, organization, self-motivation, creative problem solving, and analytic skills are essential to be successful in this role
