We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join our growing company in the new role of Content Writer. We are looking for an enthusiastic Content Writer who will lead a process for identifying and initiating content development, content updates, and maintenance of a brand-consistent web presence. The Content Writer will be able to identify and develop web, digital, social media and other communications content that supports emerging communications and marketing needs.

As a Content Writer, you will continue to build Dieselmatic’s culture and brand by creating unique meaningful website, blog and social content. You demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in digital/social media and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of digital and social media platforms and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
You are able to monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy to support the creation of content that achieves Dieselmatic’s and our Partners’ business goals.
Write, edit, schedule and publish content for Dieselmatic’s website, blogs, social media etc.
Write, edit, schedule and publish content for Dieselmatic’s Partner’s websites, DieselDocs (blogs) and social media
Create and publish unique and engaging content
Assure all-around consistency for textual styles, pictures, fonts and tones in the content
Write content that is industry relevant, clear, easy to read and engaging
Adhere to the brand’s style guide and content requirements
Create content that leads to increased sales and online traffic
Optimize content according to SEO requirements
Create social content for the social calendar across all existing platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
Monitor all existing social media platforms to properly communicate with any messages, reviews etc.
Follow an editorial calendar (Publer) to ensure timely delivery of social media materials
Work together with different departments to create innovative content ideas
Copyright and data protection)
Contribution to an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. 
Educate yourself on our CRM and communication management tools and SOPs 
Write unique and company specific content for Dieselmatic Partners' websites
Optimize current content according to SEO requirements
Plan and Schedule blog content for upcoming quarter
Plan and Schedule social media content for upcoming quarter
Develop and maintain content calendar for Dieselmatic and Dieselmatic Partners
Create content that leads to increased sales and online traffic
What technical knowledge do you need to perform in your role?
Excelling writing skills in English
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Facebook & Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn
SEO
Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
2+ years of experience in a content writer or similar role, preferably for a digital marketing agency
~ Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
~ Possess functional knowledge and experience with WordPress, Webflow
~ Fully Remote (Canada)
Three day weekend every other week (every other Friday off)
This is a remote position, you must reside in Canada to be considered. On April 6th, 2022, Fullbay and Dieselmatic announced an official partnership to combine the industry-leading shop management software of Fullbay with the marketing solutions of Dieselmatic.
