Responsibilities

  1. Work with clients to develop project proposals that describe technical approaches to de-risk and accelerate their materials scale-up for manufacturing
  2. Lead multidisciplinary projects and ensure proper execution and documentation of activities throughout the project cycle
  3. Maintain close contact with assigned customers to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
  4. Translate new / existing scientific knowledge into enabling technologies / platforms; perform analytical, experimental, and modeling work to solve business problems in a timely manner
  5. Keep abreast of trends and developments in area of expertise and be a subject matter expert in external trends/developments
Qualifications and Preferred Experience

Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of industrial experience in a flexible and versatile setting with proven leadership in project management
Skills and Attributes:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to design, demonstrate, and optimize chemical processes starting from concept stage
- Knowledge of process costing and economic analysis
- Proficient in chemical reaction engineering
- Strategic thinking capability
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Able to understand complex technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical and systematic when approaching engineering challenges
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrates the ability to regularly represent scientific findings and results to the scientific community
