Marketing Coordinator
Colliers International Niagara Ltd, located at 82 Lake Street, St. Catharines and it’s group of companies prides itself as a full service real estate organization. To allow for the growth and development of multiple income generating avenues, we are seeking a Marketing Coordinator. We specialize in sales and leasing, asset management, appraisal, consulting, property management, facilities management, landscape maintenance, snow removal, print shop and much more.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for designing and preparing a wide range of visual material and developing brand guidelines for our reoccurring revenue streams.
Duties Include:
- Develop marketing material for real estate properties including: response to RFPs, proposals, brochures, post-card mailouts, e-blasts, etc.
- Create and maintain property and company websites working with HTML and CSS, SEO and UX/UI design
- Develop and maintain info graphics for various business branches
- Edit videos for promotional campaigns from imagery provided by agents, videographers and clients to be used for advertising on websites, MLS, and other various social media platforms
- Conceptualize, design and print business cards, brochures, signage for billboards, building wraps, vehicle wraps etc., to be printed with our in-house print shop. Graphics must be print ready and scalable utilizing Flexi Software.
- Maintain brand cohesion amongst our various brands by developing brand guidelines that map out logo restrictions, fonts, colour usage, scaling, etc.
- Create a social media guide for all brands along with the graphic design aspects and the copywrite for quarterly review and annual planning.
- Create interior design layouts using AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator to provide conceptual ideas on commercial property suitability for tenants and brokers on marketing material.
- Create maps for use on demographics, radial mapping for location through the use of Boom and Hydra
- Research and tabulate comparable properties through the use of Datappraise, MLS, Geowarehouse and other sources to be used in PowerPoint presentations, proposals and market surveys.
- Creating and maintaining marketing that follows the government rules and regulations of Real Properties and Condominiums through knowledge on RECO, TRESA and CMRAO legislation.
- Work with various parties including agents, property managers, sign installers and clients to collaborate ideas with final design and execution responsibility.
- In person working position with no remote work options. Will travel between company offices throughout St. Catharines and client properties within the Niagara Region.
Required Education/Experience
- Degree or Diploma in graphic design, visual communication or fine arts from a recognized post-secondary institution
- 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role in a graphic design and marketing department or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered
- 5-7 years’ experience with graphic art and design, typography, layout and presentation methods
- 7+ years experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years experience with Flexi Software
- 1-2 years experience working with Geowarehouse, Matrix, Datappraise, Mailchimp, Niagara Region Navigator, Boom and Hydra
- 1-2+ years experience in commercial and residential real estate marketing
- 1-2+ years experience in sign print, design and execution (small- and large-scale printing)
