The successful candidate will be interested in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience of a technical background, a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and excellent problem-solving skills. We are looking for a technician to perform in HVAC, and Service work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshooting issues with all residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment.
  2. Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints, or the current building/plumbing codes.
  3. Ensuring customer satisfaction by inspecting product quality and installation to guarantee conformance.
  4. Documenting service and installation actions by completing work orders, reports, logs, and records.
  5. Creating a positive relationship with customers by demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Maintaining company vehicles to neat, clean, and safe standards.
  7. Providing excellent account servicing, including analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting testing, and resolving issues for both new and existing accounts professionally.
  8. Stay current on industry developments and technologies through continuous training.
  9. Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

The Ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A minimum of a High School Diploma or Grade 12 equivalent.
  2. Certification as a Journeyperson would be an asset.
  3. In-depth understanding of local plumbing codes and regulations.
  4. Willingness to adhere to the company's uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  5. Proficiency in working across diverse environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities mixed with effective communication skills.
  7. Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  8. Capability to work independently in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  9. Experience with routine maintenance operations.
  10. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  11. Displays meticulous attention to detail.
  12. Ability to engage with individuals sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
