About the Digital Experience & Customer Empowerment Data Science Team (DXC-DS)

The DXC-DS Team is responsible delivering Machine Learning Features that transform the customer experience for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions at Autodesk.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Data Science and Machine Learning, you will take charge of the entire data lifecycle for domains, from design to deployment. You will encompass ensuring the seamless operationalization of data assets specifically tailored for the Autodesk Assistant.

Responsibilities

You will gather instrumentation requirements by working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs. Design and implement accurate and complete data collection mechanisms, establishing and maintaining documentation for instrumentation processes and standards

You will implement best data modeling practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability across diverse business contexts

You will enforce data quality standards, conducting regular assessments and corrective measures

You will foster a collaborative environment when working with data engineers, analysts and data scientists to resolve data quality issues promptly

You will leverage business and technical knowledge to develop production-ready data models, integrating multiple data sources

Think forward, avoiding oversimplification of complexity, and guide others to avoid hasty conclusions through a data-centric approach

Help promote the important role of precise, data-informed strategies both within and beyond our walls

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Economics

Minimum of 5 years in data-centric role, such as data management, data engineering, or a data analytics

Minimum of 5 years with data manipulation tools (SQL, python), data workflow, and warehouse tools such as Airflow, Hive, Preso and Snowflake

Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, etc.)

Minimum of 2 years experience with data modeling

Minimum of 2 years experience with data pipelines and data engineering

Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration

Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or others relevant to data operations
