Purpose of the role PHD is looking for Supervisor to oversee eCommerce for one of their leading CPG clients. Working with the Associate Director, eCommerce, this role will be a key driver accelerating PHD as the go-to, trusted advisor in the eCommerce space. This is an exciting role for someone with 4+ years’ experience in the industry, with at least 1.5 years focused on Amazon. Beyond working with client sot develop campaign strategies and set ROI/ goals, the Supervisor of eCommerce you will proactively find, share and use insights to improve plans and ensure that all best practices are followed to meet and exceed client expectations. This role focuses on Amazon Sponsored Ads, Walmart Connect and Instacart with a view to expand to other platforms as opportunities arise. The ideal candidate will have strong data literacy, a keen eye for detail and will eagerly stay up to date on the evolving eCommerce landscape. Strong communication skills are required and experience on CPG and/or managing a broad portfolio of brands is a plus. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, flexibility, proactivity, and organization. Key Responsibilities Works with clients and partners to develop campaign strategies, budget recommendations and KPI goals Coordinates & oversees campaign execution to ensure campaign reaches budget and KPI goals Helps set up campaigns accurately in different platforms ensuring tags and creatives are loaded correctly Translates campaign goals to optimization tactics across all platforms Track implemented programs and run post campaign analyses to advise future strategies Continuously ideates around strategies/tactics and formulates campaign optimization plans to improve performance Presents eCommerce strategy & budget recommendations during tactical presentations Acts as liaison between clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure flawless communications and program execution Provides direct oversight, management, leadership and guidance to coordinator and/or strategist, helping them with work prioritization and organization Helps set up tests frameworks and shares results with internal teams Explore new and existing technologies that further enhance commerce business outcomes for clients Ensures billing is completed on time and accurately Responsible for draft billing on a monthly basis Onboard and utilize Commerce clean rooms as they ramp up in Canada, in close collaboration with Marketing Science practice Facilitates reporting capabilities working with marketing science teams Supports and leverages PHD’s Commerce suite of tools built within of OMNI, OMG’s people-based marketing platform, from commerce planning through to activation Core Competencies As the Supervisor, eCommerce, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies Ability to work and prioritize within timelines Keen eye for detail Strong communication skills Fully collaborative approach to problem solving Stays abreast of industry trends Demonstrable persistence and resilience at accomplishing difficult tasks, plus proven ability to learn from failures Experience collaborating closely with other agency partners such as creative, influencer, and shopper agencies. Consultative and inquisitive approach Drive for results and continuous improvement Organizational skills and rigor Professionalism Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree (can be substituted with relevant professional experience) 4+ years experience in the media/advertising, with at least 1.5+ focused on Amazon Expert knowledge of Amazon Sponsored Ads/DSP with 1.5+ years of proven experience and success managing e-comm campaigns Experience with other eCommerce, shopper and/or eRetail platforms a plus Understanding of Amazon digital shelf and best practices (preferred) Understanding of new and emerging platforms (Walmart Connect, Loblaws, Criteo, etc.) Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition Experience working on programmatic or SEM in an agency environment is a bonus Fluent in Microsoft office tools including Teams, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with bid management tools, search platforms and other retail media tools a plus Diversity and InclusionHearts & Science Canada is committed to having a workplace that respects diversity and inclusion as reflected in the various designated groups.
