LandSure ) is looking to hire a Data Research Analyst to join our Technology division
LandSure is a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.
In support of the Province’s 30-point housing plan, LandSure has helped the LTSA build and launch the Condo and Strata Assignment Integrity Register as well as the Land Owner Transparency Registry, a first-of-its-kind registry.

Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, the Data Research Analyst will research new and emerging capabilities in advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to support business operations , support identification of new services, and improve process efficiency.
Working with a wide range of LTSA applications, systems, and services, the Data Research Analyst will be responsible for engaging business stakeholders to identify needs, document processes and requirements, carrying out relevant research and development activities, and supporting adoption of new capabilities across the organization.
The primary duties of the Data Research Analyst are to:
Conduct research, data analy s is, quantitative analysis , and machine learning with a focus on delivering value-added data solutions to the organization
Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams both on- and off-site to facilitate research activities
Assist with selection and implementation of systems that support business needs while aligning to LTSA technology standards.
Support the Data Analytics team as needed with the analysis, visualization, and processing of data to support the LTSA
Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematic s, or a similar field
3+ years of experience in data analysis, either through direct work experience, education, or a combination of both
Experience developing tools and solutions leveraging machine learning or artificial intelligence capabilities.
Proficient with programming and query languages such as Python, R, and SQL
Strong understanding of machine learning and AI capabilities and implementation
Strong initiative and ability to continuously learn and develop both technical and interpersonal skills
