The Labour Relations Specialist will be providing administrative support to the HRBP – Federal and will be responsible for coordinating Human Resources and Labour Relations in the Federally regulated segments of McAsphalt Industries Limited. Supporting internal personnel through contract administration, pension plan maintenance and reporting, benefits coordination and communication, coordinating and tracking training, as well as payroll cycle and data management (pertaining to new hires, terminations and queries). Duties will also include HR reporting, engagement data analysis and general HR correspondence.

Partners with HRBP in special projects in all functional areas of HR including but not limited to recruitment, benefits, performance management, training, and employee relations.
• Participating in the collective bargaining process, conducting research, drafting language proposals, participating in negotiations.
• Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
• Provide labour relations input on organization-wide specific initiatives and projects.
• Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitments rounds, and more.
Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of working with labour unions an asset

Le ou La spécialiste des relations de travail fournira un soutien administratif au PARH – Fédéral et sera chargé(e) de coordonner les ressources humaines et les relations de travail dans les segments réglementés par le gouvernement fédéral des Industries McAsphalt Limitée. Ce rôle impliquera le soutien du personnel interne à travers diverses tâches telles que l'administration des contrats, la gestion et la production de rapports pour les régimes de retraite, la coordination et la communication des avantages sociaux, la planification et le suivi des formations, ainsi que la gestion du cycle de paie et des données associées, y compris les nouvelles embauches, les licenciements et les requêtes. En outre, les responsabilités incluront la production de rapports en ressources humaines, l'analyse des données sur l'engagement et la correspondance générale en ressources humaines.

Collaborer avec la PARH dans des projets spéciaux touchant à tous les domaines fonctionnels des RH, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le recrutement, les avantages sociaux, la gestion des performances, la formation et les relations avec les employés.
• Fournir des commentaires en matière de relations de travail sur des initiatives et des projets spécifiques à l'échelle de l'organisation.
• Participer activement aux projets RH, tels que les salons de l'emploi, les campagnes de recrutement, etc.
