  • Willingness to travel to customer locations within US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean regions
  • Desire to experiment, learn and create what-if scenarios to generate leads.
  • Education – Has to be engineer by heart with sense of business acumen.
  • Language Skills – Fluent in English ; Good to have Spanish & French

Education:

  • Technical Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Work Experience:

  • Penetrating Digital Transformation to Industrial Environment
  • Technical Sales of Industrial Machinery and after sales support

Know-How:

  • Exposure to Industrial Machinery (Turbomachinery and Static Machines)
  • Sound Knowledge of Physics and Mathematics
  • Overview of Sensing Systems, Instrumentation and Industrial Cloud
  • Understanding of PLCs

Skills:

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Good Communication Skills (Problem Articulation, Presentation, Technical Demos)
  • Balanced view of technical and business acumen

Personality:

  • Creative, Proactive, Positive Attitude, Open Minded, Adapt and reciprocate to changing business needs
  • Working in Interdisciplinary and Globally distributed teams (Europe, India)
  • High level of accountability and responsibility

Language:

  • Fluent German and English (Written and Spoken)

Business Travel:

  • Flexibility to travel at short notice to customer sites (NA region)
  • Travel Needs: Upto 50% (Maximum)

Tasks/Duties:

  • Customer plant site visit and detailed study of identified industrial asset
  • Technical evaluation of the business problem statement
  • Hypothesis and high level technical proposal recommendation
  • Validation of the PoC/MVP at customer site
  • Close co-operation with the sales, customer solutioning group and solution architects
