What You Will Do


Acts as a technical liaison on sales calls to ensure customer requirements are gathered and iTel deliverables are clearly defined prior to agreements being drafted. Assists the sales team in closing sales through technical concepts and ensuring proposed solutions and network designs meet customer requirements as well as iTel standards.


  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, and presentations to prospective clients
  • Creating product specification guides and templates to be used by Sales
  • Work closely with clients to customize products and services to meet their unique needs
  • Being the technical resource to help find the right product/service for our potential clients
  • Participate in technical discovery calls/meetings once leads are qualified and become opportunities
  • Work with the Engineering team on developing the custom solutions sold to customers.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Help to develop standard procedures for the Sales Engineering department to accommodate for future growth
  • Assist in developing sales strategies and tactics, contributing technical insights
  • Identify current service limitations and how they correspond to trending customer needs.
  • Meet quarterly sales targets
  • Increased knowledge base material for the Sales department
  • Successful transition of customers from pre-sales to billed based on effective discovery calls

Qualifications


  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Business, or Marketing, is typically required.
  • Previous experience in a sales or sales support role is beneficial.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the company's products and services, typically gained through prior engineering or technical roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical clients and team members.
  • A customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to understand complex client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, strategies, and techniques to support the sales team effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and evolving product offerings.
  • Any relevant certifications are a plus (Cisco, Fortinet, Peplink, Cradlepoint, Meraki)
