Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for leading our team of application engineers and driving technical sales efforts across the EMEA region.
Lead and coach a team of application engineers, deployment and customer success specialists across the EMEA region, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success and development.
Qualify projects and support the sales team with project feasibility checks, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical capabilities.
Complete evaluations including technical assessments, business reviews, and yearly performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting objectives and targets.
Lead the onboarding process for new team members, providing comprehensive training and support to integrate them into the team effectively.
Drive continuous improvement projects within the team, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Review Application Engineers’ work including designs, diagrams, and custom parts, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Brainstorm, teach, and support Engineers with technical and call know-how, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
Provide technical support to clients and engineers, addressing inquiries about our products and conducting design reviews to ensure optimal solutions.
Collaborate with sales representatives during client demonstrations, offering technical expertise to effectively showcase our solutions' capabilities.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in technical sales within the manufacturing industry, focusing on automation and robotics solutions.
Proficiency in using CAD software, and a strong understanding of mechanical and automation design principles (pneumatic, machining, PLC, etc).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
In-depth knowledge of automation and robotics technologies, with a track record of successfully implementing complex solutions.
Fluent in English and German or English and French, with excellent communication skills.
Experience with project management is a plus, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
