This is a hands-on role suited for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment with continuous growth and activity. Managing a team of two, the HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to management, provide operational and strategic HR support, and assist in driving initiatives that align with business goals. 🤝 Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Collaborate closely with the Director of HR on key initiatives and organizational development projects Partner with managers to coach and advise on employee performance, engagement, and relations Contribute to change management and culture-building initiatives Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment for various departments, including high-volume hiring for a new plant opening Lead onboarding, integration, and retention initiatives for new employees Support workforce planning and staffing strategies Employee Relations & Compliance Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and supervisors across both plants Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment and labour laws (Quebec & Ontario) Oversee workplace investigations, leaves of absence, and government reporting (CNESST, OQLF, WSIB) Compensation, Payroll & HR Operations Support payroll coordination and reporting, working closely with the payroll coordinator and ADP system Ensure accuracy of HR data, documentation, and communications Contribute to compensation reviews, benefits administration, and pay equity projects Health, Safety & Well-being Collaborate with the Health & Safety Coordinator to maintain compliance and promote a culture of safety across all sites Participate in training, prevention, and return-to-work programs 🎓 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field 3–5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of Quebec and Ontario employment legislation Bilingual (English & French) — written and spoken Proficient with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP experience an asset) Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills CHRP designation
