Director of DevOpsWe are looking for an experienced Director of DevOps to join a fast growing Series-C scale-up that is transforming customer service within the e-commerce sector.The company has developed an AI-powered customer support platform tailored specifically for e-commerce businesses. The platform centralizes customer interactions across multiple channels such as email, social media, live chat, and SMS, enabling businesses to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline operations, and boost sales performance.The company is undergoing a mass growth phase (aiming to nearly double in size and profit in the space of the next 2 years) and in this role, you will build a strategy on how to scale and bulletproof the infrastructure, help to mature processes and tech, increase security, reliability of the platform while managing and grow senior SRE/DevOps team.Key qualifications for the Director of DevOps:Proven experience leading SRE/DevOps teams in rapidly expanding companiesSolid technical expertise in Software Engineering, particularly with Python and GolangSignificant experience in scaling Kubernetes infrastructureHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCPStrong focus on security, including disaster recovery, risk management, and incident responseCompensation: Competitive base salary up to $CAD 270,000 + equity and comprehensive benefits.Location: Toronto (Hybrid model – 2 days per week in the office)
