Position: Superintendent, Electrical / Instrumentation Location: Kapuskasing - Papermill, ON

GreenFirst is looking for a Superintendent to provide planning and direction to the Site Services area, optimizing the process in providing site and electrical maintenance services the most cost-effective manner to support the manufacture of pulp and newsprint and maintain alignment of the Site Services group with the principles and objectives defined on the Results Management Framework.

Coach and mentor employees to ensure maximum performance.
• Ensure E/I areas are manned with a capable workforce by applying succession planning systems, effective coaching processes, accountable leadership practices, and training.
• Ensure maintenance services are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered on time, while meeting cost and quality standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain maintenance standards and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and performance of mill equipment.
• Manage the Filter Plant, the mill’s power system to ensure that processes are in place to safely and efficiently provide continuous water and power at minimum cost within environmental guidelines.
• Education: Electrical or Instrumental Technologist / Electrical Degree
• Bilingual: An asset

GreenFirst est à la recherche d'un(e) surintendant(e) chargé(e) de planifier et de diriger le secteur des services aux sites, d'optimiser le processus de fourniture de services d'entretien des sites et des installations électriques de la manière la plus rentable possible afin de soutenir la fabrication de pâte à papier et de papier journal, et de maintenir l'alignement du groupe des services aux sites sur les principes et les objectifs définis dans le cadre de gestion des résultats.

Encadrer et guider les employés afin de garantir des performances optimales.
• Veiller à ce que les secteurs E/I soient dotés d'une main-d'œuvre compétente en appliquant des systèmes de planification de la relève, des processus de coaching efficaces, des pratiques de leadership responsables et des formations.
• Veiller à ce que les services de maintenance soient efficacement planifiés, coordonnés et fournis dans les délais, tout en respectant les normes de coût et de qualité.
• Élaborer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir des normes et des procédures de maintenance afin de garantir une efficacité et des performances maximales de l'équipement de l'usine.
• Gérer l'usine de filtration, le système d'alimentation électrique de l'usine, afin de s'assurer que des processus sont en place pour fournir de manière sûre et efficace de l'eau et de l'électricité en continu, à un coût minimal et dans le respect des directives environnementales.
• Formation : Technologue en électricité ou en instrumentation / diplôme d'électricien
• Bilingue : un atout
