Become a quality champion with Best Buy Canada as an Intermediate QA Analyst. You'll collaborate with an agile team to ensure testing excellence in a remote-first environment. As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing and documenting test scenarios. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, scripting automated tests in Java or relevant languages, and analyzing test coverage gaps. This opportunity offers hands-on work with Webapps, APIs, and Micro Services while collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Design test cases and scenarios for new features
- Automate tests and analyze execution results
- Ensure adherence to QA standards and acceptance criteria
- Document, triage, and retest bugs and failures
- Communicate testing status to stakeholders
- 3+ years in software testing and quality assurance
- 2+ years in automation scripting with Java or similar
- Experience with Selenium and relevant frameworks
- Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of QA processes
