Working mostly on commercial projects, you will be joining a well-respected contractor in the area who are committed to providing quality service every time. Your new Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electric Vehicle (EV) Project Manager to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying potential partnerships, consulting clients on EV projects, managing permits and rebates, and overseeing projects from inception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of the EV revolution and make a significant impact on our business and the environment.Key Responsibilities:Identify Potential Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with engineers, consultants, property managers, asset managers, and other referral partners to create referral opportunities.Identify Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and potential clients for EV projects.Client Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients on EV projects, including detailed quotations and project plans.Project Management: Overseea EV projects from the award and handover phase, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.Permits and Rebates: Handle all permits, BC Hydro rebates, application submittals, and related paperwork for EV-Ready and EV infrastructure projects.Paperwork Management: Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.Customer Relations: Maintain excellent customer relations, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.What you’ll need to Succeed:Proven experience in project management, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.Strong knowledge of EV infrastructure and related technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with permit and rebate processes related to EV infrastructure in BC.A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.What you’ll get in ReturnAs a Project Manager, you will receive a competitive salary of $100k - $110k + profit share, paid vacation, an extensive benefits plan, and opportunities for professional development.
