As a Custodian, You Will Sweep, dust, mop, and dump trash in the warehouse. Maintains coffee and restroom supplies. Maintains the inventory of supplies. Clean outside of the facility and keeps entrances clear of snow. Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules. Maintenance on some and report on all deficiencies concerning plumbing, electrical lighting, etc. Bale cardboard and processing of warehouse waste. As a Successful Candidate You Will Have The Following High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience. Previous warehouse experience. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn in-house computer programs. High attention to detail. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment. Ability to effectively use the radio scanner gun (RF gun). Good verbal communication skills. Lift truck certification or ability to take and pass the company's certified training. Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 – 100 pounds. Able to conduct physical work in warm and cold conditions. Flexible schedule requirements, including evenings and weekends. Operates various equipment (dock levelers, hand trucks, cardboard baler, garbage baler, etc.) Available to work overtime as required.
