We are currently seeking an energetic, personable Architecture and Design Representative to add value to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:

1. Sales and Client Relationships: As an integral part of our architect and design representative team, the successful candidate will not only establish and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and other key industry players, but will also assist in our showroom a few days a week and every other Saturday. The role involves providing product information, design assistance, and technical support tailored to each client's needs, ensuring that our partners have a seamless and informative experience every time they engage with us.

2. Product Representation: Demonstrate and showcase product offerings, emphasizing the quality, features, and benefits of our products. Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and design proposals.

3. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the architecture and design industry. Provide clients with information about our products in line with current industry standards and trends.

4. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Expand client relationships and establish our brand in new markets by networking and attending industry events, which may take place during evenings and weekends.

5. Social Collaboration: Leverage social media platforms to connect with potential clients, industry partners, and the wider community. Create engaging content, respond to queries, and monitor analytics to optimize social media strategy.

6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and relay client feedback to improve product offerings and resolve issues.

7. Project Management: Manage client projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with internal and external parties to meet project deadlines and specifications. Oversee product delivery and installation as necessary.

8. Customer Service: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process.

Education/Skills:

REQUIRED:

1. Degree in Design, Architecture, or related field.

2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

4.Proficient in using design software, technologies, and general computer applications.

5.Willingness to attend industry-related events during evenings and weekends.

6.Ability to travel when necessary to meet with prospects, clients, or attend events. (Alberta & British Columbia) 

DESIRED:

1.An energetic and engaging personality, with a passion for building relationships and connecting with people.

2.Strong understanding of current design trends and ability to incorporate them into client presentations.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

1. Proven experience in a similar role with strong ties within the local architecture and design community.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:

The position will generally be working in a climate-controlled office. Some work will be done in the field, actively making sales calls at customer offices and/or on job sites. Exposure to weather elements is to be expected. Workplace noise is in the moderate range, typical of standard office environments. Job sites may be loud, noisy, dusty, or dirty.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Seven (7) to eight (8) hours workdays Monday through Friday of each week.

Starting time 9:00am.

40 hours per week
