Mission

Directly reporting to the VP Product, your mission is to lead the global supply chain and operations department which aims to optimize operational efficiency and improve the customer experience.

Your objectives will be to:

  • Reduce costs
  • Plan demand to optimize stock levels and service level
  • Optimize operations
  • Reduce delivery time
  • Keep the team engaged

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the organization's operational teams, foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and promote employee development and engagement.
  • Oversee demand & financial planning, inventory levels, and monitor financial performance to ensure the company achieves its financial objectives.
  • Ensure that the organization operates efficiently and optimally, optimizing processes and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the organization's performance, and provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and VP Products.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, the VP Products and other executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with corporate objectives.
  • Identify potential risks to the organization and implement measures to mitigate them, including developing contingency plans and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and teams within the organization to ensure alignment and coordination in the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Ensure that the organization delivers a high quality customer experience by maintaining high standards of service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of technology and infrastructure solutions to support the organization's operations and drive innovation.

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in supply chain & operations
  • Strong experience with demand planning & supply
  • Strong experience with inventory management
  • Strong experience with purchasing & supplier management
  • Experience with the agri-food industry (a plus)
  • Experience with international logistics (a plus)
  • Experience with warehouse optimization & management
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation skills (a must)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain, operations or engineering
  • Bilingual French / English
  • Endurance sports (a plus)
