AIM Roads, a subsidiary of Acciona Infrastructure Maintenance, North America, a Global Infrastructure provider, is seeking a Senior Payroll & HR Coordinator. Reporting to the HR Manager AIM Roads, the Senior Pay & HR Coordinator will be the senior administrator of payroll, leading two Pay & HR Coordinators, across two service areas for 300 Union and 35 Excluded employees across the sunny Okanagan. This position supports all functions of the HR Manager including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training and development, benefits, and general HR administration. This role may report to the office in Armstrong or Summerland and is an onsite role.
Process payroll for salaried & Union employees on a biweekly basis.
Under the direction of the HR Manager, you will be the senior pay lead and provide guidance to the HR & Pay Coordinators.
Assist with full cycle recruitment including job postings internally and externally, candidate searches, resume screening, phone screening, scheduling & performing interviews, reference checks, background checks, criminal record checks and job offer presentations.
Provide administrative support within HR including drafting letters, coordinating projects, onboarding, off boarding, and employee transfers.
Work closely with the HR team as required.
Ensure HR practices and programs support Acciona’s & AIM’s corporate culture; Other administrative support as required by the business.
Ensure compliance to applicable laws, Collective Agreements, and Company policies/procedures.
Solid experience with MS Word and Excel software.
Experience with an HRIS (experience with Ceridian and or Workday would be an asset).
3+ years related Canadian payroll experience.
~3+ years related HR experience.
~ Previous experience with benefits administration would be an asset.
~ CPHR would be an asset.
