What will you do:

Rumble is seeking a General Accountant – Revenue and Reporting to keep track of all the revenue records.

In this key role you will:

  • Responsible for timely responses to customer inquiries
  • Manage collections, aged accounts receivables and refunds
  • Responsible for compliance of security of confidential client information
  • Responsible for issuing earnings tax documents to customers
  • Manage and coordinate booking of intercompany transactions
  • Ensuring accuracy in reported monthly revenues
  • Manage weekly cash inflows and bank reconciliations through our various forms of payments
  • Adhere to month end close procedures which include preparing monthly balance sheet schedules and reconciliation to general ledger, subledgers, accrued and deferred revenues
  • Responsible for meeting with business leads to ensure accuracy in monthly reporting
  • Assist in establishing, upholding, and reviewing financial control and guidelines
  • Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documents to external auditors
  • Comply with remittance advice for local, state and federal taxes
  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process
  • Support the budget and forecast processes
  • Manage Ad Hoc invoicing to customers
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting related role
  • Quickbooks Online or NetSuite experience
  • Proficient in Excel and maneuvering/manipulating data

Preferred Qualification :

  • University/College Degree working towards furthering knowledge in accounting
  • Demonstrate through example their ability to manage large volumes of transactions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Has a proven record of contributing to process improvements
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively communicated verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with media and/or technology infrastructure companies
