Nous recherchons activement un spécialiste aux comptes payables et recevables pour un poste temporaire d'un an au sein de notre équipe comptable pour l'une de nos entités.

En tant que Spécialiste aux payables et aux recevables, vous êtes chargé de fournir un service client exceptionnel tout en recouvrant les soldes des comptes débiteurs et en payant les divers fournisseurs.

La personne idéale fournit un travail de haute qualité et s'épanouit dans un environnement dynamique.

Principales responsabilités

  • Effectuer des efforts de recouvrement, notamment en téléphonant de manière professionnelle et en envoyant des courriels concernant les soldes impayés.
  • Gestion proactive des comptes fournisseurs : vérification méticuleuse des factures, suivi des échéances et traitement des paiements.
  • Examiner et rapprocher régulièrement les comptes afin de s'assurer de l'exactitude des soldes.
  • Assurer un service client de qualité en résolvant rapidement les litiges de facturations et de paiements afin de maintenir d’excellentes relations d’affaires.
  • Participer au processus de clôture de fin de mois et à d'autres projets.
  • Soutenir les autres membres de l'équipe financière en cas de besoin pour les services centraux.

Profil recherché

  • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en recouvrement de comptes clients et au paiement des factures
  • Connaissance des applications informatiques, telles que Microsoft Office, Word et Excel.
  • Connaissance de Guidewire, un atout
  • Expérience dans l’industrie de l’assurance, un atout
  • Anglais avancé afin de soutenir notre entité hors Québec où vous devrez interagir quotidiennement avec nos fournisseurs en anglais
  • Sens aigu de l'analyse et du détail
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome avec un minimum de supervision
  • Discrétion et jugement dans la résolution de problèmes
  • Solides compétences administratives et organisationnelles
  • Esprit d'équipe

Summary

We are actively seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist for a one-year temporary position within our accounting team for one of our entities.

As an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while collecting accounts receivable balances and paying various suppliers.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality work and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Make outbound collection efforts including making professional phone calls and sending emails concerning outstanding balances.
  • Proactively manage accounts payable: meticulously verify invoices, monitor due dates and process payments.
  • Regular review and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy of balances
  • Ensure quality customer service by promptly resolving billing and payment issues to maintain excellent business relationships.
  • Assist in month end closing process and other projects assigned.
  • Support other members of the finance team as required for central services.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years’ Accounts Receivable collection and invoice payment
  • Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
  • Insurance industry experience an asset
  • Advanced English to support our business outside Quebec, where you will be required to interact with our suppliers in English on a daily basis.
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Discretion and judgment in resolving problems
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Team player
