Product Manager

As the Director of Product Management, your primary focus is to ensure that product teams are building valuable solutions to customer problems within the context of a viable business, and in line with Company Strategy, Product Strategy and Product Vision. In this role, you will lead and scale the Product Management function and will work with other functional leaders in Product Marketing, Product Experience and Product Ops as well as the SVP Product to ensure product ops are operating in a focused, efficient manner to deliver on product investments.
Measuring and driving to product outcomes that influence short and long-term business outcomes
Working to ensure product teams are operationalizing the product strategy and building effectively towards the Product Vision
Building strong, high-functioning teams, coaching direct team members in growth and development in an Empowered Product model.
Ensuring that key strategic bets and projects are advancing with high degrees of transparency and accountability
Team building / management: An ability to build, motivate and coach a high-performing product management team in measurable ways
Advising: An ability to advise on quarterly and annual planning and goal-setting for the department
Synthesis: An ability to see the forest through the trees and identify patterns through recurring problem sets both on external facing product and internal facing processes
Decision-Making: Has lead cross-functional, strategic projects, driving some decisions impacting a company’s direction and growth
Technical Knowledge: Strong technical background to understand the product’s underlying technology, and an ability to work closely with engineering teams on feasible solutions and to coach PMs on where to push back
Provides insights and inputs in the formation of product strategy and vision.
Process: Has implemented (and documented) processes that have helped a team work better with the rest of the company, including with Sr. Data-Driven Decision Making: An ability to leverage data analytics, A/B testing and user research to inform product decisions and measure success
