The Position: Head of AD Operations

This programmatic company is looking for an exceptional Ad Operations professional to lead the team responsible for campaign performance, buying strategy and delivery in North America. You will be overseeing the development of our team of Traffickers, traders and manage the successful execution of campaign revenue and insights. In addition to the day-to-day management of your staff you will be responsible for working closely with the sales team in Canada and North America in ensuring our product and offering is technically sound and market leading. You will also provide feedback to the marketing and product development team when required to ensure our continued product enhancement.

You will work across all channels.

Required Skills/Experience

7-10 years of experience in online performance advertising/programmatic/adtech

Experience in campaign setup, management and optimisation

Experience in managing a team

The ability to analyse data and form hypothesis.

Demonstrate an inquisitive nature and the determination to find solutions.

DSP/network or exchange experience – as many DSPs as possible

Ability to prioritise and focus, with a high level of attention to detail.

Must have project management skills.

Experience of presenting in a way that relates to the needs and understanding level of the audience.

Client facing experience.

Confidence to go against and question the status quo.

Creative thinker with ability to come up with original strategies based on data and experience

Experience of statistics and data modelling.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the operations/trader team

Recruiting, training and development of traders and traffickers

Responsible for achieving business GP goals

Responsible for the overall successful delivery of campaign revenue

Supporting the technical and operational queries from the sales team in North America

Working with traffickers and Marketing to create case studies and insights.

Product and technical specialist in the North American business

Hold key 3rd party contracts with technology and DSP partners

Be a leader within the Canadian team

Manage the escalation of Operational/Tech issues.

Input into product development roadmap
