You will report to the Head, Finance and Operations and will build and maintain relationships with teams across MFAM, the Mastercard Foundation, external consultants and vendors. As a member of the team, you will have opportunities to grow and develop and create meaningful value and lasting impact through the Mastercard Foundation.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in starting up a world-class organization that will have global impact. You will be accountable for developing, managing and leading MFAM’s operational due diligence function. Develop and maintain MFAM’s operational due diligence methodology and framework including the approach to onboarding new investment relationships and monitoring existing relationships.
Lead and conduct comprehensive operational due diligence reviews of external investment managers across all asset classes including partnering with external vendors where appropriate.
Prepare due diligence reports and present findings to stakeholders including investment team members and senior MFAM executives.
Stay updated on relevant industry trends and regulatory changes impacting operational due diligence.
15+ years of experience including a minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience conducting operational due diligence on external investment managers across both private and public market asset classes.
~ Relevant university degree and a CPA/CA or CFA designation.
~ Strong track record of assessing, synthesizing and developing practical solutions to mitigate operational risk across all non-investment functions within an investment management business.
~ Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience communicating with executive management.
~ Alignment with the mission and values of MFAM and the Mastercard Foundation.
