Burnaby BC, Canada KasaHR Consulting Full time

changepain™ Medical and Allied Health Clinic is an accredited innovative interdisciplinary Pain Centre specializing in individualized whole-person pain and rehabilitation care. Using advanced neuroscience-based therapies, their highly experienced team of Doctors and Allied Health practitioners are dedicated to helping people optimize mind function, physical performance, and life vitality before and after injury. They are passionate about breaking barriers to holistic care as they believe in setting the example for health and care.

At changepain™, they offer a blend of MSP, extended care, and private pay services to reduce the development of chronic pain before it happens and find ways to alleviate it when it impacts quality of life. They are an active training facility with the University of British Columbia as well as a research center focused on treatment effectiveness and reducing barriers to care.

In recognition of their growth and as a result of a recent academic transition, the leadership team at changepain™ is seeking a healthcare operational leader with a solid understanding of what it takes to run a clinic where patients feel supported, and staff have the necessary systems in place to be successful in their work.

This is a truly unique and varied role. As the Clinic Operations Manager, you own leadership of a team of 20 through 6 direct reports. You will also indirectly support an overall headcount of 70 in running operations of the newly built Burnaby location. You will oversee clinic procedures and workflows including clinician and patient scheduling, data management, and support compliance with healthcare regulations and medical ethics. Leveraging the Leadership and operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial strength, a tech-forward environment, targeted marketing, optimal facilities management, and talent development activities for the clinic.

As a member of the leadership team, you will get to work closely with the Board of Directors (including Founders) for long-term planning and clinic expansion. You will bring your creative and innovative ideas to advance service delivery, and your diverse organizational experience to steward sustainable growth.

In recruiting our ideal candidate, we want to connect with tech-savvy, nimble, creative, and highly organized professionals who are natural relationship builders and have the right level of financial skills to lead clinic operations toward the next phase of effective pain care delivery. changepain™ is a highly data-driven environment, therefore comfort in working with Excel and supporting software to optimize data-backed decision-making will be a key skill set. Experience with Inputhealth EMR would be an asset.

You know the healthcare environment and possess the right credentials (business or healthcare designations) leveraging on direct experience supporting the patient care journey. You possess a calm demeanor in managing multiple sensitive matters and thrive on creatively breaking through barriers.

You practice compassion and empathy in your work and are motivated by making a difference in the lives of others. You are a natural people leader and mentor who is known for supporting a culture founded on trust, respect, creative problem-solving, continuous learning, open communication, and team collaboration.

Compensation

Competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 based on experience. changepain™ is actively working to create better-aligned HR development and compensation packages.
