Lead a dynamic team at Coast Salish YMCA Kids Club in Coquitlam as a full-time Team Leader. Oversee engaging before- and after-school programs for children aged 5-12, ensuring a safe environment. As a passionate Team Leader, you will mentor staff and volunteers while delivering quality programming that aligns with childcare licensing standards. Your organizational and coaching skills will foster collaboration among team members, enhancing program delivery and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onboarding and training for new team members
- Coach staff in designing child-centered programs
- Build relationships with families and community partners
- Ensure compliance with licensing and program standards
- Manage program budgets and materials
- One year leading teams in childcare or recreation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of childcare compliance regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Certification in First Aid & CPR required within 30 days
