We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. The Fusion Centre will bring together capabilities that cross cyber, fraud, physical security and crisis management to enhance our abilities to protect clients and employees. The Senior Director, Fusion Services will work with the VP Fusion to develop and maintain the vision and strategy for the Fusion Centre. Your mandate will be to lead the overall development of processes and technology capabilities to enable and support the effective operation of the Fusion Centre. but not limited to, building and maintaining technical and automation capabilities for core Fusion Centre functions that include Fusion incidents, threat intelligence, data analytics, threat detection, reporting/dashboarding, and controls. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Strategy & Roadmaps: Lead the strategy and delivery of Fusion capability, including establishing physical centres with appropriate facilities. Lead the implementation of a ‘follow the sun model’ for Fusion, including assessment and establishment of international locations and teams as appropriate. ensuring Fusion follows all appropriate regulations, policies and procedures, meets CIBC standards, and implements appropriate controls. Provide leadership and effective management of business unit staff to influence employee commitment to the organization, to the team, and to their job by ensuring compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying the policies and controls fairly and consistently so employees understand what to expect.

People Leadership: Provide leadership and effective management of business unit staff to influence employee commitment to the organization, to the team, and to their job by; setting appropriate context when assigning work to ensure that individuals’ roles support the achievement of the business unit’s priorities and CIBC’s overall goals; building team and individual capabilities by providing development opportunities such as job shadowing, special projects, and training; managing performance by providing fair and accurate formal and informal feedback, identifying and removing obstacles to performance and by explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities; You can demonstrate experience in Strategic Management (15-20 years) within an Enterprise Security function. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, as well as ability to analyze, understand and explain the value proposition of security initiatives to senior executives and Board members. Possess advanced management and leadership skills sufficient to lead and motivate professional staff in a number of occupational areas to achieve planned enterprise wide objectives. Exceptional relationship management skills; You have excellent planning and integration skills to plan for and integrate the required components of an overall financial crimes strategies.
