Program Manager

Highline Beta is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager to support our corporate-startup collaboration and accelerator programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our programs, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
This is an entry-level to mid-level full-time contract position until the end of the year, with potential for full-time employment in 2025.
Location: Toronto (hybrid: 2-3 days/week in downtown office)
Start date: June, 2024.
Qualifications- Strong background in project/program management.
- Experience working with and managing founders on their growth journeys.
- Experience with client-facing, account management, and/or working with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with startup frameworks/methodologies.
- Strong relationship-building and management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Program Delivery and Design:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the assigned program(s).
- Support participants in identifying business needs and gaps to achieve goals.
- Track participants' progress and provide updates to clients/partners
- Collaborate with relevant team members within Highline Beta to support participants in achieving their growth plans.
- Manage all aspects of the assigned program(s) to ensure that activities are on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the key coordinator managing client relationships and other stakeholders.
- Manage communications as the main point of contact with clients/partners.
- Attend select startup ecosystem and corporate collaborator meetings (some potential travel)
- Support the execution of Highline Hub's events & programming for founders + investors + execs
Reporting:
- Provide consistent reporting to clients and relevant stakeholders through digital dashboards and regular check-ins.
- Manage all associated financial and administrative documents to ensure compliance and budget execution of projects.
- Ensure all reporting is done in accordance with provided guidelines.
- Conceptualize and draft the scope of Highline Beta's contributions to the program in each phase.
