Delivery Manager Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Delivery Manager with 5+ years of experience managing technical production teams, working in open sourced development environment, and experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an enterprise environment to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.Client: Big Five BankContract: 1 year rolling contractLocation: Toronto, Downtown Core (2 days/week downtown)Responsibilities: Monitor the production SLA and work with existing productions to meet the incident SLAExperienced with incident management. Able to drive the emergency production issue calls to get the production issue resolved within the SLA.In case of emergency incidents, manage communication to business, stakeholders and executivesShould be able to understand what types of information is relevant to each audience when send communication for eg. Number of clients impactedAble to determine the accuracy of data before sharing it with business stakeholder and executive in case of production issueAble to makes decisions to enable quick restoration of service while balancing risk associated with changesResourceful person be able to create personal connectionsWork with existing production support team to streamline and improve processesTrack vulnerabilities to ensure they are fixed within SLA or proper exemptions are grantedUnderstanding the software development lifecycle, waterfall and agileKey Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager on technical production support envrnioment5+ years of experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and escalationsWorked in a enterprise environment (ideally the financial industry)Experience working with both internal and external stakeholdersSoft Skills:Excellent verbal and written skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to lead/work in teams
