TalentWorld is recruiting a Cloud Solutions Architect in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud solutions for the Government of Ontario's Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Develop advanced security measures for cloud environments.
  • Lead complex migration projects from on-premises to public cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance.
  • Document designs and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure and AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of leading complex migration projects from on-premise to public cloud environments.
  • Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning processes using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Public sector experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of government regulations and policies.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Employment Details
  • Salary: $97.00HR - $100.00HR
  • Benefits: 37.5 Hours weekly, Full-Time, Contract, Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: 10 months contract, possibility of extension
