What You’ll Do

  • Design, configure and implement network & security solutions for Fully Managed clients, leveraging industry-leading products and services from our technical partners;
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments;
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations for client-driven initiatives and strategies;
  • Perform technical assessments using for network and security architectures
  • Take responsibility for the overall success of technical projects for Fully Managed clients;
  • Create accurate documentation of client environments, known issues, and client information
  • Create standardized operating procedures and assist with post implementation support
  • Participate in meetings to ensure the success of our national Professional Services team

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary studies relating to IT (e.g. Networking, Systems Administration, Technologist);
  • Combination of 5-10 years of progressive experience in an IT-related field related to advanced networking, security, and/or solutions implementation;
  • Associate-level networking certifications (CCNA, PCNSA, JCNIA, Network+, Security+, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience in network & security configurations, including firewalls, routers, switches and wireless solutions
  • 5+ years experience in security frameworks including next-gen firewalls, VPN, IPS, 2FA and SIEM/MDR/XDR solutions
  • Proven problem-solving ability to work rapidly in high pressure situations;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,

Great-to-haves

  • Professional or expert level certifications (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, JNCIE)
  • Cloud and virtual networking, including Microsoft Azure, VMware, Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Active Directory environments
