Land Representative (Senior)Location: Calgary, AlbertaContract length: Mon-Fri (40 hours/week) HybridDescription:Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.Responsibilities:Identify land requirements and potential issues on capital projects, acquisition or development programsProvide facilitation in unique land issues, claims, negotiations recognizing precedent-setting impactsSupport and implement the annual integrated public awareness programDirect and/or advise contract land agents, appraisal experts, consulting foresters and surveyors, contractors involved with property matters and ownershipEnsure data within the land database is current and accurate.Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience in the position or similarUniversity degree in related disciplineDetailed knowledge of the Canada Energy RegulatorProficient in Microsoft Office productsDetail-oriented, with excellent analytical and negotiation skillsKnowledge of the methods and techniques for performing Land Services activitiesAble to make decisions and use judgment while performing related activitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely to prepare reports, specifications, applications, and correspondenceAblility to interact with all levels of management and to work effectivelyApply here or send your resume to globalrecruitment@nesfircroft.
