We are currently looking to fill a Full Time opportunity for a Nursing Unit Clerk with the Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at Burnaby Hospital located in Burnaby, BC .

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Health Services, performs reception and clerical duties related to the operation of the unit.
enters payroll data into computer; Answers telephone, take and relay messages, answers routine inquiries or refer as appropriate; Orients new staff and students to unit; demonstrates procedures, answers questions and explains unit organization and layout.
# Maintains stationary and supply levels for unit; Grade 12, completion of a Unit Clerk Program plus one (1) year's recent, related experience as a unit clerk in an acute facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to operate a computer and related equipment.
